The Remington Mohawk 600 is a classic hunting rifle that was built from 1971 1980. Or - should I just not trust it and send it back to the gun safe. Is this something that can be fixed?ģ - Who should I take this thing to for expert advice and maybe service? They had the same exact problem back then with previous models. The serial number "A." isn't part of the 1979 recall according to the website. The safety release to FIRE caused the pin to release.
